Institute of Pharmacology, Hygiene and Medical Biochemistry named after M.P. Skakun

The educational–scientific Institute of Pharmacology, Hygiene and Medical Biochemistry named after M.P. Skakun was organized in June 2005. It includes the following departments: Department of Medical Biochemistry and Clinical-Laboratory Diagnostics, General Hygiene and Ecology, Pharmacology with the Clinical Pharmacology course, Pharmacy and Pharmacotherapy.

The head of the institute is the director. The Academic Council is an advisory organ of the Director. The Director Deputies and Heads of the departments, and the instructors with the scientific degrees form the Academic Council. The Academic Council considers problems of educational-methodological organization, scientific work of the departments, reviews reports concerning the work of the departments, makes decisions on the questions and ensures them to be carried out.
